# Crescendo CXP documentation

Crescendo CXP is the Customer Experience Platform for AI-first support operations. It brings customer conversations, AI Assistants, human agents, routing, channels, contacts, organizations, and operational configuration into one workspace.

Use these docs to learn how agents work conversations and how administrators configure the platform.

## Start by role

* Agents should start with [Work conversations](agent/conversations).
* Administrators should start with [Users and roles](admin/users-and-roles) and [Teams, routing, and categories](admin/teams-routing-and-categories).
* Everyone should review [CXP concepts](reference/concepts) before working across channels.

## What is covered now

This first documentation set covers agent and administrator workflows:

* Core CXP concepts
* Conversations, conversation views, and conversation lifecycle
* Users, roles, invitations, and user status
* Teams, category catalogs, and routing behavior

Public API documentation is intentionally deferred.

## Access during beta

The CXP documentation site shows a beta password prompt before you can interact with pages. Existing Crescendo legacy documentation remains unchanged at `docs.crescendo.ai`.
